Over the past ninety-six years, Sharjah Public Libraries have established an interest in education and knowledge. They have enhanced awareness of world events and supported the cultural system by providing a wide range of services and facilitating the endless flow of information within the community.
The main library, located in the heart of Sharjah’s cultural square, and its five branches in the central region and along the emirate’s coast, serve the needs of individuals and diverse groups despite differences in gender, race, age, minorities, special needs, and other characteristics.
